Ski 365

I Jondal it's possible to ski 365 days a year. Because of the road from the fjord to the glacier Folgefonna, we are secured snow all year. In winter it is about 10 meters of snow at Folgefonn Summer Ski Center, then you also find snow further down the fjord. From about 1. of May until 1. of September Folgefonn Summer ski center is open.

Espesially the spring time is fantastic if you like cross country skiing. Folgefonni Breførarlag arranges ski trips along Folgefonna, Jondal-Rosendal in the weekends in May. This is a strongly recommended ski trip full of contrasts.

A nice a cross country day trip is to follow a marked route to the top of Folgefonna (1644 masl.). If other tours outside the marked route to the topp on the glacier is wanted contact Folgefonni Breførarlag.
